Sequoias on Palomar
Shown below is a location map of the approximately 250+ sequoias found to date on Palomar Mountain.

Below are a few of the sequoias located at Caltech's Palomar Observatory grounds.
Below left: A 90-foot tall sequoia, and at right, an "offspring" of the mother tree. Many people think sequoias will regenerate only after a fire releases the seeds of a cone. Though that is the primary way of regenerating, they can regenerate from cones that have fallen to the ground.
